Repair of premises or apartments is a set of measures that are carried out in order to restore the original quality or change the condition of a dwelling.
Repairs are mainly carried out if the tenants do not have the need or opportunity to completely change the old apartment for new housing.
There are many types of repairs.
The first, most superficial and easy type is redecoration. In this case, the appearance of an object simply changes.
If you need to replace or modify individual parts of the resource, refurbishment is performed.
The most serious and deep repair is, of course, a major. Such repairs have a much larger volume, and financial or material costs, too.
In the case of scheduled preventive maintenance, it is done at a specific time interval.
We all also know about such repairs as restoration. Most often, this repair is applied to works of art. For example, if after a fire, a flood, or because of other external influences, paintings or sculptures deteriorated, restoration helps to at least to some extent return them to their former appearance. But it is also successfully practiced in the restoration of historical buildings and cultural heritage monuments.
