Fear of public speaking. It is this phobia that occupies a leading position in the most common phobia. When entering the stage, speaking to the public, the heart begins to beat at a frantic speed, the face begins to become covered with red spots, and so on. All these sensations are described by people themselves who are afraid of public speaking.

Acrophobia. In other words, it’s a fear of heights. And this fear is the second most common. Quite a lot of people suffer from this phobia and experience discomfort when looking down from a height.

Cynophobia, cynophobia. It’s all fear of dogs. For some, just knowing that dogs bite is enough to create fear. And if a person saw a dog attack someone, or was attacked himself, then the fear intensifies even more. And then it doesn’t matter if the dog is dangerous or not, the person will experience fear, being near or near it.

Aviaphobia. It is not difficult to guess what a person is afraid of, he is afraid to fly on an airplane. A fairly large number of people experience real horror during the flight.

astrapophobia. Oddly enough, it’s the fear of thunderstorms. A lot more people are afraid of the onset of a thunderstorm than it might seem at first glance. This is because some are simply ashamed to admit that with the approach of a thunderstorm they begin to experience fear.

nyctophobia. It’s the fear of the dark. This fear comes from human childhood. After all, one of the strongest fears in childhood is the darkness, and almost all children are afraid of it. Of course, many, having matured, simply outgrow this fear, and it remains only a childhood fear. Some have not been able to outgrow the fear of the dark and already in adulthood experience anxiety when they are in a dark room.

What are the most common phobias

Agoraphobia. It’s the fear of big space. Moreover, this fear also applies to a large crowd of people, in other words, the fear of possible actions of the crowd. When a person walks along an empty street, he begins to feel uncomfortable, anxiety begins to appear uncomfortable. All because, being in a large space, a person does not have the ability to quickly hide.

Claustrophobia. This phobia is the exact opposite of the previous phobia. It’s the fear of closed spaces. When a person is in a confined space, he begins to get nervous and anxious because he cannot leave this place at will.
