What furniture should be used in the house and its rooms?
In our age of abundance of consumer products and a general lack of space, the word “living room” is somehow not very common among the majority of Russians. And even representatives of the middle class so beloved by the state cannot always afford to have a living room in a city apartment. But as soon as it comes to a country or just a private house, each owner, immediately after the bedrooms, determines in the project a place for the living room – a room for receiving guests and idle pastime.
Historical Western tradition points us to the presence of a fireplace, as the central part of any living room. Nowadays, of course, there is no need for a fireplace, but as an element of decor, a way to create a certain aristocratic atmosphere, the fireplace deserves attention. In addition, it creates a feeling of comfort and a kind of family closeness of all those present in the house. But the absence of a fireplace will not affect the comfort in the house if the living room space is harmoniously organized.
The style of the living room can be anything: themed, classic, urban or, for example, high-tech. Classics are always in fashion, and therefore such a living room will testify to the good taste of the owners. Furniture in the classical style looks majestic, refers us to medieval France with its pomposity and richness of the interior. Every design element here is a luxury item, handmade or a work of art.
But if the owners are young and talented, full of ideas and capable of unexpected solutions, then the living room in their house can combine several styles, coupled with modern technology. Bright colors and different shapes, sometimes incredible, a lot of glass and brushed metal, elements of Japanese and Indian styles – this and much more can be used together in one room. But in this case, you should be careful and not overdo it with variegation. Otherwise, in such a living room, the eye will very quickly get tired of the variety.
To relax the interior and solve various kinds of problems, it is enough to install normal and beautiful furniture, after which everything will change.
The living room is the place where you are going to meet your guests and there should be appropriate conditions here so that people have a normal impression of you and your manner of taking care of your entire home, but for the bedroom everything should be chosen completely differently.
